Sophia Handmade Box & Cards

At a recent scrapbooking retreat, my amazing CTMH director, Melissa Robinson, put together a project for us to work on.   We created a handmade box for holding cards, the cards to fill the box, and four double page scrapbooking layouts (I think!)  I will share images of the card box and cards I created based on her designs.  The box is a Vicki Wizniuk template and can be found on her blog (just click here) it is the A2 Slant Top box.

This project uses the Sophia paper pack, Fill in the Blank stamp set, Say It In Style stamp set, Friendship Blessings stamp set, The Present stamp set, pink button assortment, the Designer Ribbon pink collection, my super cool ATG gun, and lots of edge ink distressing.  When I say lots of edge distressing…we were seriously at risk of carpal tunnel and on the edge of delirious…but once the project was finished it was worth every minute it took!

If my memory serves me correctly, we used tulip ink to distress the edges of the white and pink papers, pear ink to distress the polka dot paper, and black ink for the sentiments.

Leave me a comment and let me know which card is your favorite!

Thanks Jennifer – the box is a Vicki Wizniuk template – i added the information in the blog post today if you are interested in obtaining the template. I looked at Vicki’s blog today and she has quite a few nice box templates!! I know the one featured here (her A2 slanted box) was super easy to create.
