Before I get started you must know that CHOCOLATE is the most important thing I need when scrapbooking – and cooking, cleaning, working…I could go on forever. There is something about the cocoa, sugar, and milk that fuels the creative portion of my brain! Chocolate is my drug of choice. It just makes everything more fun. Because it is not an actual “tool,” I’ll leave it out of the top 10 but it is seriously the most important element of my papercrafting!
#10 – Brads!
I just love the look of brads. They are so easy to use, come in a bazillion colors – even glittery ones, and you can color them yourself with embossing powder if you are trying to match a project exactly. One thing to remember when using brads and other embellishments is to keep them in odd numbers on your project – use 3, 5, 7 – etc. It makes the designs more pleasing to your eyes to have odd numbers.
#8 – Chocolate Ink
Even chocolate ink is my favorite color.
#7 – Glue Dots
I use these to attach ribbon, bling, chipboard elements, and anything else that needs to stick on and tape would be tricky or glue dots can make things look 3-D.
#6 – Micro-Tip Scissors
#4 – CTMH My Acrylix Stamps
Acrylic stamps are awesome – you use a see-through acrylic block to stamp and you can see what you are stamping through the block. Love them!!!!
#3 – My Reflections paper packets
These paper packets are great because everything is coordinated and makes life so easy!
#2 – ATG Gun
Cannot live without it!!! I have the red one that uses 1/4” tape. My mom gave me this several years ago and it is the best thing ever.
#1 – CTMH How-To Books (Magic, Imagine, Cherish, Reflections, Wishes, Originals)
These books are great because it makes me not think so hard. The how-to books remind me of cookbooks – where the recipe is there and you just follow the steps to a delicious scrapbook page or card!
